Mary M. Schaefer

Mary M. (Brunner) Schaefer, 93, of Temple, died August 29, 2009 in St. Joseph Medical Center, Bern Township.

She was the wife of William O. Schaefer, who died in 1981.

Born in Walnuttown, PA, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Catherine (Schmehl) Brunner.

Surviving are six children: Spencer E., Temple; Forrest C., Holden, MO.; Matthew O., Temple; Michael W., Mission, KS.; Lynda A., Temple and Paula L., Muhlenberg Township.

Also surviving, are her six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, eleven great-great grandchildren and one great-great-great grandchild.

She was predeceased by two sons: Kenneth O. Schaefer and Dufred G. Schaefer.

Viewings will be held Wednesday evening 6:30 - 8:00 pm and Thursday 9:00 - 10:00 am in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road., Laureldale.

Graveside services will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township.
