Mary Estelle Sampson

Mary Estelle (Loughran) Sampson, 97, of Wyomissing, passed away Tuesday November 30, 2010, peacefully at home, after a short illness.

She was the beloved wife of Eugene A. Sampson for over 67 years.

Born in Boston, MA, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Leo and Katherine Estelle (Walsh) Loughran.

She was a graduate of Brighton High School, MA. and Boston Clerical School, MA.

Mary was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, West Reading.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by five daughters, Deborah, wife of Kenton Lewis, Superior, MT, Constance, wife of Gonzalo Arauz, Wyomissing, Melanie, wife of Manuel Sanchez, San Francisco, CA, Elizabeth Sampson, Novato, CA and Eleanor, wife of Vince La Rocca, San Francisco, CA; ten grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart R.C. Church, West Reading. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury, MA.
