Mary A. Barbon Reist

Mary A. Barbon Reist, 42, of Kenhorst, passed away May 28, 2012 at the Reading Hospital.

Born in Cape May, NJ, she was the daughter of Barry A. and Helen R. (Cole) Barbon of Kenhorst.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by three children: two sons, Derek Reist and Dean Reist and one daughter, Olivia Diedrich all of whom reside at home in Kenhorst. She was predeceased by her husband, David Reist.

She received an Associate's Degree from Berks Technical Institute in Specialized Business with a major in Medical Assistance.

She was employed by the Reading School District and worked at the 10th & Penn Elementary School as a Paraeducator.

Mary loved her family and friends to the fullest. She approached life with a carefree attitude. Whenever she was around, there was always laughter in the room. She loved her children more than anything and was so proud of their accomplishments. She loved the beach and would often take trips with her children to Wildwood, NJ. Her love of music was passed on to her children and they often attended concerts and folk festivals together. She loved her job and her students. Her easy going spirit and smile will be missed by many.

Services will be held privately. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. A memorial fund has been set up to support her children.
