Mary R. Piscitelli

Mary R. Piscitelli, 93, formerly of West Reading, died October 24, 2009 in ManorCare, Sinking Spring.

She was the widow of Anthony Piscitelli.

Born in Yonkers, NY, she was a daughter of the late, Thomas and Margaret (DiGiacomo) Cardinal.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, West Reading, where she was president of the Sacred Heart Society from 1967 to 1969 and again in 1977.

She is survived by three sons, Joseph A., Kutztown, David, West Lawn and Michael Cornwall Terrace and one daughter, Nancy Paolini, Wexford. There are two sisters, Dolores Harter, Wernersville and Evelyn Fick, Fleetwood. Nine grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild also survive her.

She was predeceased by three siblings, Carmen Cardinal, Peter Cardinal and Angie Binder; one grandchild, J. Mark Piscitelli.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church. Entombment will be in Gethsemane Mausoleum. Friends may call Tuesday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in Edward J.
