Mary P. Finocchio

Mary P. Finocchio, 99, formerly of Wyomissing and most recently of Ocean City, N.J., passed away peacefully at home on September 2, 2026.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Mary (Young) Painter and a graduate of Reading High School.

Mary devoted her life to her family as a loving wife and mother. She was the wife of the late Joseph P. Finocchio, with whom she shared 63 years of marriage before his passing in 2010. In her later years, Mary enjoyed working at Zipf's Candy Store in West Reading, where she took pleasure in meeting and serving customers.

She was a longtime member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, also in West Reading.

Mary is survived by her daughters, Kathleen, wife of Gary Lintner; and Carolyn, wife of Bryan Martin; four grandchildren: Megan, Leigh Ann, Marissa, and Hunter; and four great-grandchildren.

She will be lovingly remembered for her devotion to her family, her warm spirit, and the many years she shared with those she loved.
