Mary Moll

Mary Ann Moll, 90, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2024 at Reading Hospital and Medical Center. She was the widow of James H. Moll. They celebrated 54 years of marriage before his death in 2009.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Mary (Devine) Gantert, and was raised by her father and stepmother, Isabel Gantert. Mary was a graduate of Central Catholic High School, Class of 1951. She was a devout Catholic all of her life and had a special devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary, saying a Rosary to start each day.

Mary was a devoted wife and a loving mother. She especially enjoyed spending time with her four grandchildren and felt blessed to get to know her eight great grandchildren.

Mary is survived by her son, James J., husband of Suzanne M. Moll, Exeter Township; daughter, Patricia C., wife of Robert M. Ford, Lititz; four grandchildren, James P. Moll, Kaitlyn Smith, wife of Zack Smith, Robert J. Ford, husband of Nicole, and Jessica R. McInerney, wife of Robert McInerney. In addition to her husband, Mary was predeceased by sisters, Patricia McCormack and Carolyn Siegle.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated privately with burial to follow at Gethsemane Cemetery in Laureldale.
