Mary Louise Minnich

Mary Louise Minnich, 85, of Wyomissing, passed away at Wyomissing Nursing and Rehabilitation on May 30th, 2025. Born in West Reading, she was the daughter of William and Pauline (Kurowski) Minnich.

Mary was a graduate of Reading High School. She held various positions within a few companies throughout her lifetime, including CNA Insurance, Manor Care Laureldale, and McDonalds. In each industry, her goal was to help others and bring them happiness.

Mary radiated positivity, always wearing a smile that uplifted those around her. In her youth, she was passionate about bowling and took joy in teaching others the sport. Additionally, her cooking skills were remarkable; she was particularly famous for her delicious pound cake and traditional Polish donuts, which brought delight to many. Mary enjoyed gathering with her group of close friends to play Skip-Bo on Sundays and loved to play bingo.

She is survived by her brother, William Minnich (Shirley), of Wyomissing and her friend, Mollie Prey, of Fleetwood. She will also be missed by her nephews, Kerry and Josh Minnich.

Mary was predeceased by her parents, her brother, Carl Minnich, nephew, William Minnich, Jr. and her dear friend Carol Fox.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 14th, 2025 at 10AM at Gethsemane Cemetery, 3139 Kutztown Road Reading. Burial will follow.
