Mary A. Mccord

Mary Anna (Riegel) McCord, 93, of Reading, died December 26, 2008 in the Berkshire Center, Exeter Township, where she had been a resident since November 15, 2006.

She was married May 27, 1950 to the late Warren Irvin McCord, who died November 5, 1996.

Born in Birdsboro on August 21, 1915, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Mary (Ullieni) Riegel.

She was employed a number of years with CK Witner, Reading.

Mary is survived by a daughter, Kathleen M. (McCord) wife of Stanley E. Fitterling of Wyomissing and a grandson, Stanley Warren Fitterling of Wyomissing.

Other survivors include two sisters: Frances (Riegel) Yuschalk of Bern Township and Margaret (Riegel) Duda of Reading.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10:00 am in Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Lakeview and Franklin Streets, West Reading. Viewings will be held Monday 7:00 - 8:30 pm and Tuesday 9:00 - 9:30 am in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. Burial will be in Birdsboro Cemetery, Union Township.
