Mary Marmarou

Mary Marmarou, 95, formerly of Shillington, passed into eternal life February 12, 2015, in Reading Hospital.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late George and Efrosine (Petrides) Panselinou. She was predeceased by her siblings, Anthony Boyer and Anna Monioudis.

She attended Reading High School. Mary worked as a hostess for the Crystal Restaurant, in sales for Whitner's, Children's Department and in retail for The Best Things at the Reading Outlet Center.

Mary was a member of Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church. She was a dedicated and active member of both the St. Xenia Philoptochos Society and The Daughters of Penelope Society.

She was totally devoted to her family and loved being a YiaYia to her grandchildren. Survivors include two daughters, Sandra, wife of Douglas Clark, Reiffton; and Joanne, wife of Mark Weidner, Exeter Twp.; five grandchildren, Stephanie Wesolowski wife of Paul; Lisa Meitzler, wife of Alex: Meredith Rinaldi, wife of David; Douglas Clark, Jr., husband of Robin; and Christopher Beidler, husband of Pamela; and eight great-grandchildren, Lauren and Rachael Wesolowski; Matthew and Nathan Rinaldi, Maxwell and Abby Clark, Nicholas Meitzler and Michael Beidler.

Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 1001 E. Wyomissing Blvd. Reading, PA 19611, with a viewing held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Charles Evans Cemetery. Contributions may be made in Mary's memory to the church at the above address. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading is in charge of arrangements.
