Mary A. Marabella

Mary A. Marabella, 92, of West Wyomissing, passed away February 18, 2011 in The Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

She was the wife of Charles Marabella, whom she married May 31, 1941.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Anthony S. and Stella (Barcz) Davidowski.

Mary worked in the Berkshire Knitting Mills, West Reading and Boscov's, Reading. She was also a homemaker, caring for her husband and three children.

She was a former member of the Reading Jr. Women's Club and West Lawn Mother's Club. She enjoyed sewing needlepoint pictures.

She was a longtime member of West Lawn United Methodist Church, West Lawn.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her three children: David C., husband of Rose Mary Marabella, West Wyomissing; Lee A., husband of Diane M. Marabella, Spring Township and Jane, wife of J. Patrick Boylan, Wyomissing. Also surviving are three sisters: Celia Snyder, Stella Dunkleberger and Irene Kozlowski. Two grandchildren: Anthony and Angela also survive her.

She was predeceased by her brother, Anthony F. Davidowski and her sister, Sophie Tandlmayer.

Services will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. in West Lawn United Methodist Church, 15 Woodside Ave., West Lawn, PA 19609. A viewing will be 9 to 10 a.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mary's name to West Lawn United Methodist Church at the above address; St Stephen's Polish National Catholic Church, 20 Saint Stephens Church Ln Reading, PA 19607 or mass cards would be greatly appreciated.
