Mary Louise (née Kelly) Mancuso, a resident of Wyomissing, PA, for fifty-three years, died in her residence surrounded by her loving family on September 2, 2021, age eighty.
Mary Louise was born on April 15, 1941, to William J. Kelly, Sr. and Genevieve M. (née Kane) Kelly.
Mary Louise was educated at St. Margaret Catholic School, Reading Central Catholic High School and the Kutztown State Teachers College; all institutions she cherished for both the excellent education acquired and the personal relationships forged.
Mary Louise met, courted and married her high school sweetheart, Jack G. Mancuso. They met during their first week at Reading Central Catholic High School in August, 1954 and recently celebrated fifty-eight years of marriage on August 17, 2021.
Mary Louise is survived by her husband Jack G. Mancuso and their six children and spouses: Gilbert M. Mancuso and wife, Elizabeth A. Mancuso, Wyomissing; Christopher J. Mancuso, Wyomissing; Mark W. Mancuso and wife, Maria C. Mancuso, Wilmington, DE; Erin K. (Mancuso) Hobey and husband, Michael J. Hobey, Barcelona, Spain; Ann M. (Mancuso) McNamee and husband, Gregory M. McNamee, Wyndmoor; and James E. Mancuso and wife, Andréa T. Mancuso, Wyomissing.
Mary Louise is also survived by her grandchildren, whom Grandmom and Grandpop loved and adored quite possibly more than their children: Thomas G. Mancuso, Wyomissing; Samuel J. Mancuso and wife, Katrina J. (Seaver) Mancuso, Burke, VA; William C. Mancuso, Brooklyn, NY; Alexander J. Mancuso, University of Pittsburgh; Jack J. Mancuso, Joseph J. Mancuso and Anna Maria Mancuso, all of Wilmington, DE; Sebastiana L. Hobey and Genevieve E. Hobey, both of Barcelona, Spain; Rosemary R. McNamee, Charles I. McNamee and Pearl M. McNamee, all of Wyndmoor.
Mary Louise was predeceased by her brother William J. Kelly, Jr. and is survived by her sister Genevieve A. Kelly.
Our family would like to acknowledge the exceptional care and kindnesses afforded to Mom by her nurses, Ms. Katarina Schmoyer, Ms. Lori Loy, Ms. Janice Haynes and all her caregivers.
