Mary Louise Gabel

Mary Louise Gabel, 76, of Wernersville, died December 13, 2006 in Phoebe Berks Health Care Center.

Her husband, John E. Gabel died July 25, 1984.

Born in Ashland, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Bertha (Smith) Meyers.

She was a graduate of Ashland High School in 1948.

Mrs. Gabel was a member of St. Francis de Sales Roman Catholic Church, Robesonia.

She was a past president of Green Valley Ladies Auxiliary from 1986 to 1988, where she was also a board member for many years.

Survivors include four sons, John J., Harrisburg, Mark A. Robesonia, Karl E., Sinking Spring and Paul A., West Lawn and four daughters, Regina A. (Gabel) Urso, Sinking Spring, M. Claire (Gabel) Griffith, West Lawn, Krista L. (Gabel) Greely, Phoenix, AZ and Connie M. (Gabel) Young, West Lawn. Fourteen grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren also survive her.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Francis de Sales R.C.Church 321 North Church Street Robesonia, PA 19551. Burial will be in St. Mauritius Cemetery, Ashland. Friends may call Saturday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the church.
