Mary G Lionti

Mary G. Lionti, 92, of Kenhorst, passed away on October 5, 2021, in the care of Berks Heim. She was the widow of Harry J. Lionti, who passed away in 2004. They shared 51 wonderful years together.

Born in Reading, PA, she was a child of the late Matteo and Pearl (Galato) Elmo. Mary graduated from Reading Central Catholic High School. She worked at several area knitting mills, including Berkshire and Talbots, before taking a position as transporter in the cen-tran department at the Reading Hospital, where she also worked as a house mother at the nursing school until the school's closure.

Mary belonged to St. John Baptist de la Salle Church in Shillington.

She was a great cook known for her Sunday spaghetti dinners. Mary will be remembered for the delight she took in caring for others as both a mother and grandmother.

Left to treasure her memory are her children: Joseph (Susan) Lionti of Bernville, PA; David (Kelly) Lionti of Mohnton, PA; LuAnn (John) Epler of North East, MD; Susan (David) Reitz of Sinking Spring, PA; and Mark Lionti of Wyomissing; her grandchildren: Nick, Katie, Matthew, Nathan, Diana, Brooke; two step grandchildren: Zachary and Vanessa; and eight great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mary is predeceased by her sisters, Sara Coco and Concetta Tallierchio.
