Mary G. Lamarca

Mary G. LaMarca, 92, formerly of Reading, died December 18, 2006 at 4:20 p.m. in Reading Hospital, where she had been since December 9.

Her husband Harry LaMarca died September 22, 1965.

Born in Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Felicia (DeStefano) Genova.

She was a member of Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, Reading, where she served as the parish cook for a number of years.

Mrs. LaMarca was predeceased by one son, Russell J. LaMarca, who died October 2, 2001.

Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Elizabeth A. LaMarca, Wyomissing, two grandchildren, Cynthia Albrecht and Mary Beth wife of Robert Scoboria and 6 great grandchildren. There are also two sisters, Millie Cardell, Reading and Jennie wife of Joseph Rodolff, Reading and one brother, Lawrence Genova, Las Vegas.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 9:30 a.m. in Holy Rosary Church 237 Franklin Street Reading, PA 19602. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery. No viewing. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Holy Rosary Church at the above address.
