Mary L. Young

Mary L. (Levan) Young, 90,of West Reading, passed away May 5, 2017 in the Reading Hospital.

She was the beloved wife of the late Paul I. Young, with whom she celebrated 25 years of marriage.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Joseph S. and Augusta (Ginther) LeVan.

Mary attended Reading High School.

She was employed by Narrow Fabric Inc., as a braider for over 25 years.

Mary enjoyed baking, cooking and shopping. She also enjoyed "Do It Yourself" projects around the house. But her true love was spending time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

She is survived by her two children, Joanne, wife of Ray Leninger, Kenhorst, and Joseph B. DeHart, West Reading. Mary is also survived by one brother, Joseph LeVan; four grandchildren, Jesse L., husband of Sherry Leninger, Portland; Tracie, wife of Clarence Croch, Temple; Ray S., husband of Holly Leninger, Reinholds; and Brett A. Leninger, Mohnton; 13 great grandchildren, 10 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mary was predeceased by her first husband, Joseph C. DeHart, and two siblings, Clifford E. LeVan and Arlene Berkenstock.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family with burial at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
