Mary L. Heaney

Mary Louise (Kehoe) Heaney, 81, was pronounced dead on October 21st at 5:30 p.m. in her residence at 937 Upland Ave., Kenhorst, Pa 19607.

She was the widow of Lawrence E. Heaney Sr., who died March 21, 1995.

Born in Pottsville, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Catherine (Corcoran) Kehoe.

She was a 1941 graduate of Pottsville Catholic High School.

Heaney was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, West Reading.

She worked for 23 years as a bank teller for the former Meridian Bank, Reading, before retiring in 1987.

Heaney is survived by a son, Lawrence E. Heaney Jr., of Cumru Township.

Other survivors include three daughters, Kathleen (Heaney) Sadowski of Mohrsville, Susan (Heaney) Mantz of New Ringgold, Schuylkill County and Carole (Heaney) Hagy of Brecknock Township.

There are seven grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 9:30 a.m. in Sacred Heart R.C. Church, West Reading. Viewing Friday 8:00 - 9:00 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Pottsville.
