Mary E. Kofroth

Mary "Sis" E. (Coldren) Kofroth, 76, passed away March 31, 2017, in the Reading Hospital.

She was the widow of Robert G. Kofroth who passed away in October of 2011.

Born in Birdsboro, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Grace (Amole) Coldren.

Mary was a 1958 graduate of Exeter High School.

She was most recently employed at Reiffton School of Exeter Township as a custodian.

Mary was always active and absolutely loved to be outdoors gardening. She loved her paint by numbers and enjoyed solving crossword puzzles. She was a devoted Elvis Presley fan and loved her adoring dog, Buttercup.

Mary loved her family, they were most important to her.

She is survived by two daughters, Stacey L. Readinger, Robesonia; and Debra A. Kofroth, with whom she resided with in Reading; her brother, Robert Coldren, Mohnton; four grandchildren, Christine Kofroth, Tiffany Readinger and Nathan Readinger, and Jerome Dixon; two great-grandchildren, Jayden Oliver and Bella Oliver; and a soon-to-be great-grandson, Jerome Robert Dixon.

She was predeceased by one brother, William Coldren.

A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, April 6, 2017 at 4 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
