Mary E. Keller, 74, of Auburn, passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2021, in Geisinger St. Luke's Hospital.
She was the beloved wife of Richard T. Keller.
Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Norman L., Sr. and May E. (Drexel) Kauffman.
Mary was employed as a CNA at Berks Heim for over 20 years. She last worked at Laurel Center.
She was a member of Bern Church.
Mary was a member at Port Clinton Fire Company.
She was a very generous person and often donated to foundations, mainly to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
In addition to her husband, Mary is survived by four children: Robert R. Schell, Schuylkill Haven; Jeffrey F. Schell, Shoemakersville; Stacey L. Bordner, fiancee of Ricky L. Trate, Shoemakersville; and Sabrina J. King, wife of Brian Brobst, Auburn. Three step-children: Denise Weaver, Tonya Feltner, and Wendy Mosley; six grandchildren; Kearstan, Ryan, Tiffany, Charles, Autumn, Brian, and 19 others; and two great grandchildren, Layla, and Clayton; one sister, Michele V., wife of Thmas J. Cowley, and Goddaughter and niece, Sienna E. Cowley also survives her.
She was predeceased by a granddaughter, a grandson, and a great grandson.
A funeral service will be held Monday, February 8, 2021, at 7 p.m., at Burkey and Driscoll Funeral Home, 40 South 4th Street, Hamburg. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. A visitation will be held two hours prior to the service in the funeral home from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Contributions may be made in Mary's honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
