Mary Kantner

Mary (Gristick) Kantner, 89, formerly of 205 Roosevelt Avenue, Muhlenberg Township, died January 16th at 1:25 pm in Berks Heim, Bern Township, where she had been since September 11, 2001.

She was the widow of Joseph P. Kantner died March 4, 1984.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of John and Elizabeth (Harbonic) Gristick.

Kantner is survived by a daughter, Ruth M. (Kantner) wife of Samuel Moatz of Lewes, Delaware and two sons, Joseph P. of Mechanicsville, Virginia and James E. of Kenhorst.

Other survivors include two brothers, Paul Gristick and George Gristick, both of Reading.

There are eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

Services will be Thursday at 10:00 am in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Viewing Thursday 9:00 am until time of service. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township.
