Mary Jane Groves

Mary Jane (Frederickson) Groves, 91, of Wyomissing, passed away on January 28, 2018, in the Reading Hospital.

Born in St. Cloud, MN, she was the daughter of the late Frank Alexander and Marguerite Louisa (Watson) Fredrickson.

Mary Jane loved all people. She was a social person who made many friends during her lifetime. She enjoyed shopping, traveling, dancing, and crafts. She also enjoyed playing cards and belonged to card clubs. Mary Jane still enjoyed volunteering at Country Meadows of Wyomissing. She had a great sense of style and always made sure her hair was done. She was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She will be truly missed.

Mary Jane is survived by two sons: Richard W., husband of Diane Groves, Myerstown; and Michael J., husband of Gina Groves, Wayne, MI; one granddaughter: Lauren A. Groves, Sarasota, FL; three nieces: Michelle, Angela, and Stacy; and one brother: Frank T. Frederickson, TX.

A visitation will be held from 12:00-1:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 1, 2018, in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading.
