Mary Jane Graul

Mary Jane Graul, 81, formerly of Reading, died January 30, 2015 at Hearthstone at Maidencreek.

She was the widow of Robert Lee Graul, Sr., who died June 24, 2008.

Born November 15, 1933 in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Kermit F. and Brigida (Manzalillo) Schwartz.

Mary Jane was a 1951 graduate of Reading High School.

She served as the head of St. Joseph's Women's Auxiliary for 4 years.

Mary Jane was a volunteer at the Berks County Historical Society and she loved to read.

Surviving are her six children: Robert L., Jr., husband of Therese (O'Connor) of San Antonio, TX; Terence M., husband of Suzanne (Forden) Graul of Reading; Christopher P., husband of LeeAnn (Uliasz) Graul of Bel Air, MD; Bridget M. Graul of Morgantown; Stephanie E., wife of Michael J. Galczynski of Muhlenberg Township; Jennifer P., wife of Timothy S. McWilliams of Laureldale.

Also surviving are her six grandchildren: Marc, Amy, Mary, Ben, Tess and Cole.

Mary Jane was predeceased by her brother, Warren Schwartz.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Kuhn-Stitzel Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., Laureldale is in charge of arrangements.
