Mary J. Koons

Mary J. Koons, 84, Temple, died February 27 at 9:15 a.m. in Mifflin Center where she had been since April 2005.

She was the wife of Raymond L. Koons.

Born in High Point, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Maribelle Benner.

She was a member of United Methodist Church of Madison, NJ.

Survivors include two grandchildren, Samantha and Eric Koons both Sparta, NJ. Other survivors include one nephew, Raymond Mergner, Temple. There are also 1 great neice and 2 great nephews and 2 great great nephews and one great great niece.

She was predeceased by one son Raymond Van Koons. He died July 23, 1999.

Services will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Entombment will be in Restland Memorial Park Association, East Hanover, NJ on Friday at 2:15. Friends may call Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading is in charge of arrangements.
