Mary I. Glass

Mary I. (Santoro) Glass, 94, of formerly of Wyomissing, died October 30, 2014, in Berks Heim.

Her husband, Amos J. Glass, Jr., died January 13, 2000.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late John P. and Lucy (Mirabella) Santoro.

She was employed by Abraham Lincoln Hotel, Reading for 15 years, Wilson Products, Reading for 10 years and Lucent Technology, Muhlenberg Township for 24 years, until her retirement.

Mary was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, West Reading.

She was a longtime local bowling enthusiast and won numerous local championships.

Mary is survived by three children, John A. Glass, Delray Beach, FL, Ellsworth P. Glass, husband of Kathy, West Wyomissing and Marie L., widow of Jerome Bielawski, Sinking Spring. eleven grand-children: Kenneth Templin, John Templin, Joseph Templin, Randall Templin, Debra Glass Aron, Barbara Glass Minot, Beverly Glass Buchman, Jeanmarie Rienzi, Jennifer Glass Matte, Michael Glass and Andrea Glass Heffner and nineteen great-grandchildren: Alexa Aron, Taylor Aron, Amanda Minot, Benjamin Buchman, Zachary Buchman, Brody Glass, Bailee Glass, Sophie Matte, Devin Matte, Jessica Templin, Sean Templin, Margot Templin, Andrew Templin, Jakob Templin, Noah Templin, Lucas Templin,Dominic Renzi, Anthony Renzi and Jon Renzi also survive her.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. in Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 237 Franklin St, Reading, PA 19602. Entombment will be in Gethsemane Mausoleum.
