Mary I. Berger

Mary I. Berger, 90, formerly of West Reading, died Feb. 2 at 8:45 p.m. in ManorCare Health Services Inc., West Reading.

Her husband, James K. Berger, died March 18, 2001.

Born in Upper Macungie Township, Lehigh County, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Mantana (Shollenberger) Mohn.

Berger was employed for 34 years as a presser by Mary MacIntosh, Reading, retiring in 1976.

She also served as a crossing guard in the Wyomissing School District from 1976 to 1986.

Berger was a member of St. James Church, West Reading.

Surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Services will be Monday at 1 p.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reiffton. Friends may call Monday from noon to 1 p.m.
