Mary I. Antol

Mary (Dodds) Antol died peacefully at the Schuylkill Center in Pottsville, PA. Thursday March 23rd, 2023. She was born in St Clair, PA on January 28, 1931.

She was an active member of St. Mary's Parrish in Hamburg where she volunteered at bingo, Fall Harvest Fest (as a Pierogi maker extraordinaire) and the Christmas Bizarre. Mary worked many years at State Farm Insurance for Harold "Buck" Holtzman and was a faithful volunteer for 20+ years at the Hamburg Senior Center and Meals On Wheels.

Mary loved playing 500 rummy, quilting, making braided rugs (cherished by all fortunate enough to have one), the King Frost Parade and the Hamburger Festival. She enjoyed summer vacations at the Jersey Shore in Stone Harbor, trips to Atlanta to see her grandchildren Ian, John and Erin and visits from her other granddaughter Molly.

"Everyone loved Mary". She was kind, humble and giving. Always willing to help others with no expectations of anything in return. She touched us all and will be deeply missed.

Mary was the wife of the late John Antol Jr. , mother of predeceased Christine and survived by John III and partner Sherry Reppert of Hamburg, PA, Shawn (Antol) and Scott Schrepple of Boyertown, PA, Lynn (Antol) and Mike Andruzsko of Atlanta, GA and her cherished grandchildren Matt, Molly, John, Ian and Erin.

A heartfelt thanks to the staff on the Homestead Unit to the care given to Mary especially in her final days.
