Mary B. Hettinger

Mary B, (Krezdorn) Hettinger, 84, formerly of West Lawn, passed away August 18, 2009 in Berkshire Center.

Her husband, Robert W. Hettinger died May 5, 1997.

Born in Neinkirchen, Germany, she was a daughter of the late Richard and Maria (Beidinger) Krezdorn.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, West Reading and an honored member of the America's Greatest Generation.

Mary is survived by three sons, Rocky W., husband of Sherri, Robesonia, Richard K., Spring Township and Scott T., husband of Cindy, Mountain Top; and two daughters, Kimberly M., wife of David Jankowski, Exeter Township and Anita M. Hettinger, Mt. Penn.

She is also survived by two sisters, Susanna, widow of John Aulenbach, Reading and Bertha, widow of Roy Faust, Oahu, Hawaii; and eight grandchildren: Christopher Hettinger, Denise Pasko, Deanna Rayner, Jamie Hager, Nicholas Jankowski, Stacey Hettinger, Scott Hettinger and Jared Hettinger and six great-grandchildren: Ashleigh Jankowski, Jeremiah Jankowski, Kyra Hettinger, Megan Pasko, Rachel Pasko and Samantha Jankowski.

Mary was predeceased by two brothers, Joseph Krezdorn and John Krezdorn and a sister, Anna Madara.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in Sacred Heart R.C. Church. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading.
