Mary Ann "Curly" Hartman, 68, of Richmond Township, passed away on Friday, December 2, 2011 in the St. Joseph Medical Center where she was a patient since November 22nd.
Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Marion and Mabel (Yoh) Berger.
She was employed as a Supervisor and Consultant for the former Parish Division – Dana Corporation, Reading for 30 years until retiring. She was a past recipient of the Dana Corporation Woman of the year award.
Mary loved to travel and was loved by and will be terribly missed by her family and many friends.
She is survived by her Son: George H. Hartman, Jr. and his wife Tina of Clarksville, TN and her Daughter in law: Tammy Hartman of Maidencreek Township. Also suriving are her Sisters: Beulah Screpsi of Kenhorst and Betty, wife of Todd Brightbill of Sinking Spring. Also her Step Sister: Doris Reber of Temple and her Step Brothers: Joseph Berger of Kenhorst and Barry Garman. She is also survived by her Grandchildren: Jeremy, Zachary, Elizabeth, Maggin and Chad and her Great Grandson: Desmon. She was predeceased by her Son: Chris D. Hartman on June 23, 2006 and her Brothers; Robert Berger and William Berger and her Step Brother: Gary Garman.
A Memorial Service will be held in Blankenbiller Funeral Home, 423 Main Street, Oley, on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at 8:00 pm. Interment will be private at the family's convenience. Friends and family may pay their respects on Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 pm. Contributions in Mary's memory may be made to the St. Joseph Medical Center, Cancer Center, 2500 Bernville Road, Reading, Pa. 19605.
