Mary C. Hanley

Mary C. Hanley, 70, of Whitfield, PA died March 29 at 9 AM in the residence of her daughter Eileen M. (Hanley) Marando, Mohrsville.

Her husband Michael A. Hanley died January 8, 1996.

Born in West Hazelton, she was the daughter of the late John and Annette (Glace) Sheerin.

She was a graduate of West Hazelton High School.

After her graduation from high school she was employed by the Pentagon, Washington, DC as a secretary for 5 years. Later, she was employed by H & R Block, Wyomissing and Tax Professionals, West Reading until her retirement.

She was a member of St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church, Whitfield.

In addition to her daughter Eileen, she is survived by two other daughters, Maureen E. (Hanley) Bucci, Harleysville and Kathleen M. (Hanley) Hamilton, Doylestown. There are also 3 sons, Michael P., Sinking Spring, Dr. Patrick J., Lehighton and Dr. Terrance P., Shillington. There are also 13 grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 12:30 PM in St. Ignatius Church. Entombment in Gethsemane Mausoleum, Muhlenberg Twp.
