Mary Gertrude Grim

Mary G. Grim, nee Hill, 87 years, passed away peacefully at her home in Hamburg, May 14, 2024 with her family by her side.

Mary was born in Reading and was a resident of Hamburg all her life. Mary was the daughter of the late John and Melva nee Brobst Hill. Mary graduated from Perry Elementary and Hamburg High School. After graduation, Mary was employed by Gilardone J C & Son Inc of Virginville and later she went to work for her brother John Hill of JMH Trailers in Hamburg as a secretary and retired after many years. Mary was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, and always put her family first. She was also a member of The Leesport Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Mary was predeceased by her first husband, Donald P. Grim, her second husband William Fessler, her brother John Hill and her sister Anna Billig.

Left to cherish her memory are her children Dean A. Grim and his wife Clara, Lori Moyer and her husband Tom, Jeffrey Grim and his wife Carol, five grandchildren: Angela Wolf, Kylie Moyer, Keesha Moyer, Chad Grim, and Codi Grim, her great granddaughter Katia Wolf, 1 brother Daniel Hill and his wife Betty. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Marie Hill and brother-in-law Allen Billig.
