Mary E. Grill

Mary E. (Klopp) Grill, 89, formerly of Reading, died Oct. 5 in the Phoebe Berks Health Care Center Inc., Wernersville, where she had resided two days.

She was taken to Phoebe Berks from Country Meadows of Wyomissing, where she had resided since May 2003.

Her husband, Paul H. Grill, died Aug. 25, 1988.

Born in Robesonia, she was a daughter of the late Esther (Klopp) Putt.

Grill was employed for 20 years as an inspector by the Glo-Ray Knitting Mills, Robesonia, retiring in 1972.

She was a 1934 graduate of Robesonia High School.

Surviving is a son, David R., Wernersville; and a daughter, Judith A. (Grill) Marsden, Sinking Spring.

Other survivors include a grandson.

Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Spring Township.
