Mary Jane Griesbaum

Mary Jane Griesbaum, 67, of Pottsville, passed away at her son's residence in Reading on September 19th.

Born in Pottsville, she was the daughter of the late Atilius Piccioni and Susan (Vitelli) Piccioni of Pottsville.

Her husband, Leonard D., passed away on June 19th, 1999.

She was a graduate of Nativity High School in 1956. She later graduated from the St. Joseph's School of Nursing, Philadelphia, in 1959.

Mary Jane worked as a Registered Nurse for 41 years.

She is survived by two sons, Michael L. Griesbaum of Philadelphia and Daniel L. Griesbaum and wife Dorrine M. of Reading.

Mary Jane is also survived by one brother, Louis Piccione and wife Karen of Orwigsburg.

There are also two grandchildren, Nathaniel C. Griesbaum and Brianna Johnson- Griesbaum.

She was predeceased by one grandson, Cole D. Griesbaum, who passed away on October 3, 1996.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Sunday at 7:00 p.m. at St. Margaret's R.C.C., Reading. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Berks Visiting Nurses Association, 1170 Berkshire Blvd. Wyomissing, PA 19610. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of the arrangements.
