Mary Louise Geiger

Mary Louise (Freeman) Geiger, 90, of Phoebe Berks Village, passed away May 1, 2008 in Reading Hospital.

She was the widow of Russell W. Geiger who died on May 18, 2006.

Born in West Reading, she was a daughter of the late Charles W. and Nora C. (Lamm) Freeman.

Mary Louise was a graduate of Sinking Spring High School in 1935 and West Chester State Teachers College in 1939. She also did graduate work at Duke University.

She was employed by Birdsboro School District as an Elementary Teacher and Reading School District as an Adult Educator.

Mary Louise is survived by three daughters, Sandra L. wife of R. John Thomas, Sinking Spring; Lynne Ann wife of James Lacalle, Belair, Md; Jane L. wife of David Esposito, Glenmoore, PA; six grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and one step grandson also survive her.

Memorial Services will held Monday, May 12 at 11 a.m. in the Phoebe Berks Chapel, 1 Heidelberg Rd. Wernersville, PA 19565. Burial will be private in Sinking Spring Cemetery. Friends may call from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel. In Lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Trinity U.C.C. Memorial Fund, 25 & Cumberland Ave., Mt. Penn, PA 19606. Edward J.
