Mary M. Gasser

Mary M. Gasser,97, of Wyomissing, passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2011 in the Highlands at Wyomissing Skilled Care Unit.

She was predeceased by her husband, Harry N. Gasser in 1989.

Born and raised in Pleasantville and Oley, she was a daughter of the late Horace and Rose Ellen (Nein) Mest.

She was employed as a teacher at the Oley Valley School District and also the Norristown School District and Bloomsburg training School until retiring.

She was a 1931 Graduate of Oley Valley High School and graduated from the Kutztown State Teachers College, now Kutztown University in 1935.

Services and Burial for Mary will be private at the family's convenience. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be mad to Kutztown University, P.O. Box 151 Kutztown, Pa. 19530.
