Mary F. Miller

Mary F. Miller, 98, Reading, a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on October 13, 2022, at the Reading Hospital.

The love of her life, her husband, John T. Miller, passed away on December 22, 2003.

She was the daughter of Ludwig and Karoline Bochenek. Mary was preceded in death by her three siblings, John Bochenek, Stephania Guthier, Sophie Brossman and her grandson Ricky.

She was a graduate of Reading High School in 1942. Mary was a devoted member of St. Margaret's RCC, Reading. In the early days of the parish, Mary was the head of various mothers' clubs, treasurer of the school's athletic funds, and co-leader of many fundraising projects. Through her lifelong devotion to her parish, she formed friendships with many parishioners and priests which she deeply cherished until the end of her life.

She is survived by her children: John T. Jr. (Emily) Miller, Philadelphia; Terry F. Miller, Reading; Marcia M. Miller, Tennessee; and Michael J. (Erika) Miller, Reading. She leaves behind five grandchildren: Katie, Karoline, Rae, Michael Jr., and Rachel.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at 11 a.m. at St. Margaret's RCC, Reading with burial to follow at Gethsemane Cemetery. A visitation with family and friends will be held at the church one hour prior to the mass. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Margaret's RCC. Edward J.
