Mary Theresa Eroh

Mary Theresa (Arcaro) Eroh, 86, formerly of Oak Street, Laureldale, died January 13, 2015 in ManorCare Health Services, Spring Township.

She was married May 5, 1949 to Marlin H. Eroh, Sr., who died August 12, 1993.

Born in Summit Hill, Carbon County on December 28, 1928, she was a daughter of the late John and Lucy (Rao) Arcaro.

Mary was employed for 20 years as a seamstress with David Crystal, Reading, until her retirement in 1987.

She was a graduate of Summit Hill High School.

Mary was a member of Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church, Muhlenberg Township.

She was an avid Penn State Football fan and loved to travel.

Mary was a loving mother, wife, grandmother and great grandmother.

She is survived by her four sons: Robert R., husband of Peggy (Foran) Eroh of Sinking Spring; John T., husband of Cathy A. (Stibich) Eroh of Boyertown; Daniel G., husband of Constance C. (Crossley) Eroh of North Wales, Montgomery County and Marlin H. Jr., husband of Maureen F. (Dalessandro) Eroh of Exeter Township.

Other survivors include a sister, Carmela Arcaro of Summit Hill; a sister-in-law, Catherine DePoi of Mechanicsburg; nine grandchildren: Kathleen, Jonathan, Kelley, Kimberly, Matthew, Keith, Andrew, Timothy and Lena and eight great grandchildren.

Mary was predeceased by a brother Matthew DePoi.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 1:30 pm in Holy Guardian Angels R.C. Church, 3121 Kutztown Road, Muhlenberg Township.

Viewings will be held Thursday from 6:30 – 8:00 pm and Friday from 12:30 – 1:00 pm in the Kuhn-Stitzel Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale.

Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
