Mary Ellen Mccann

Mary Ellen "Molly" McCann, 90, passed away, Tuesday, January 24, 2017 in Rittenhouse Village at Muhlenberg.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Edward J. and Dora (Gruber) McCann.

She was a member of St. Paul's R. C. Church, Reading.

Mary Ellen was a graduate of Immaculata University, majoring in English.

In her spare time, Mary enjoyed volunteering for the Literacy Council.

She was employed at and loved working for Beaumont, Heller & Sperling, where she was an advertising copywriter for over 45 years.

Mary Ellen is survived by her sister, Ann Marie Peskin, Rittenhouse Village at Muhlenberg, and her brother, Edward Joseph McCann, widower of Rosemarie (Izzo) Palladino, Reading. Many nieces and nephews also survive her.

She was predeceased by three siblings; Margaret Theresa McCann, Katherine Elizabeth McCann, and John Edward McCann.
