Mary Elizabeth Vogel

Mary Elizabeth Vogel, 96, formerly of Reading, died August 15, 2012 in ManorCare Sinking Spring.

She was the widow of Joseph Vogel.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late James and Mary (Leis) Flemming.

She was a 1933 graduate of Reading High School.

Mary worked as a secretary for A.W. Golden, Reading until her retirement.

She was a member of St. Paul's R.C. Church, Reading.

She is survived by her nieces and nephew: James Flemming, Christine Davies, Mimi Beck, Patricia Amin and Sheila Schell.

Mary was predeceased by her two brothers: John Flemming and James J. Flemming and her niece, Patricia Flemming.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Paul's R.C. Church, 151 N. 9th St. Reading, PA 19601. A viewing will be Monday from 9:30 to 10 a.m. in the church. Entombment will be in Gethsemane Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Paul's R.C. Church at the above address. Edward J.
