Mary E. Haas

Mary E. Haas, 96, of Wyomissing, passed away January 31, 2014 in Kutztown Manor.

She was predeceased by two husbands: Frederick J. Bowman and Edgar T. Haas.

Born September 15, 1917 in Reading she was a daughter of the late William R. and Sarah E. (Fox) Kress.

She worked for Continental Can Co., Reading, for over 20 years, retiring in 1987.

Mary loved traveling. She was very sociable and loved spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by six grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

Mary was predeceased by her two daughters: Dawn G. Foreman and Diane L. Lessie; her brother, William Kress; and her sister, Emily E. Scholl.

Services will be Thursday at 12 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. A viewing will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park. Online condolences may be recorded atwww.kuhnfuneralhome.com.
