Mary Lou Dietrich

Mary Lou (Peiffer) Dietrich, 73, of Maidencreek Township, died October 11, 2011 in ManorCare Health Services, Inc., Muhlenberg Township.

Born November, 22, 1937 in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Earl L. and Violet (Werner) Peiffer.

Mary was the wife of Jesse Lawrence Dietrich whom she married August 28, 1955.

She was a 1954 graduate of Reading High School.

Mary was a member of the Maidencreek Church, Maidencreek Township.

She volunteered as a librarian at Andrew Maier Elementary School in the 1970's and enjoyed spending time with family.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Jesse B., husband of Tina M. (Seyler) Dietrich of Maidencreek Township, a brother, Jack Peiffer, of Exeter Township, and two grandchildren, Jesse D. Dietrich and Korrin M. Dietrich.

Mary is predecreased by a brother, Mel Peiffer, and a sister, Betty Rosado.

Services will be Friday at 12:30 pm in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. A visitation will be held Thursday from 6:30-8:00 pm in the funeral home.Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township.
