Mary M. Dianna

Mary M. Dianna, 77, of Exeter, passed away on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, in the care of Reading Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was the loving wife of James Dianna, with whom she shared over 55 years of marriage.

Born in Reading to the late Alexander and Loretta (Boniesky) Hojnowski, Mary attended Reading High School. She worked briefly at Penn Optical, where she met the love of her life, James, and she later worked in the garment industry for many years.

As a young woman Mary enjoyed singing and dancing. She was a cleaning enthusiast and took pride in keeping her and James' home beautiful. Penny Ante was a favored way to pass the time. In her later years she treasured babysitting her beloved grandson.

Left to cherish Mary's memory is her husband, James; their daughter, Danielle Calpino and husband Anthony of West Lawn; grandson, Vincent Calapino; brother Thomas Hojnowski and wife Joanne of Hamburg; and sister Sandra Consentino, widow of Anthony, of Exeter. Mary is also survived by her nieces, nephews, and their families. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Carol Pachuilo, and her brother, David Hojnowski and his wife, Mary.

A Prayer Service will be held for Mary on Monday, September 8, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the Kuhn Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc, 5153 Kutztown Rd, Temple PA 19506, with committal to follow at Gethsemane Cemetery.
