Mary C. Chudovan

Mary C. (Yaklich) Chudovan, 97, formerly of Reading, died December 3, 2012, in Gettysburg Lutheran Retirement Village.

Her husband, John Chudovan, died November 16, 1996.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Anton and Frances (Pezdirc) Yaklich.

She was employed as a sewing machine operator by Meinig's Hosiery.

Mary was a member of St. Margaret's Roman Catholic Church and St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church, Gettysburg.

She is survived by her son, John Jr., husband of Cynthia Chudovan, Gettysburg; three grandchildren, Jack, husband of Susan Chudovan, Ellen, wife of James Brandt and Carol, wife of Robert Balgac and five great-grandchildren, Jacob Chudovan, Mary Elise Chudovan, Eva Brandt, Nikola Balgac and Julia Balgac.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 1:00 p.m. in St. Margaret's R.C. Church, 925 Centre Ave., Reading PA 19601. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery.
