Mary Boyle

Mary Boyle, 89, of Shillington, died February 1 at 11:57 p.m. in Reading Hospital where she had been since January 22.

Her husband James Boyle died October 29, 1985.

Born in Donegal, Ireland, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Bridget (Gallagher) Hanlon.

Boyle was a member of St. John Baptist de la Salle Roman Catholic Church, Shillington.

She is survived by a daughter, Ann Marie (Boyle) wife of John P. Traynor, Birdsboro. There is also one sister Nora (Hanlon) McGuinness, Greenock, Scotland.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in St. John Baptist de la Salle Roman Catholic Church, Shillington. Entombment will be in Gethsemane Mausoleum. Friends may call Monday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Berks Visiting Nurse Association/Hospice 1170 Berkshire Boulevard, Wyomissing, PA 19610. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading is in charge of arrangements.
