Mary Ann Bohn

Mary Ann Bohn, 69, passed away January 21, 2015 in her Exeter Township residence.

She was the companion of Kermit Bohn.

Born June 19, 1945 in Womelsdorf, she was a daughter of the late Charles R., Sr. and Rosie E. (Fichthorn) Bohn.

She was a 1963 graduate of West Reading High School, a 1967 graduate of Kutztown State College and earned her Master's from Kutztown in 1970.

Mary Ann was a teacher for Exeter School District and also Governor Mifflin Elementary School, retiring in 2007. She also worked in the outpatient accounting department of the Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

She was a member of Schwarzwald Lutheran Church.

Mary Ann is survived by her three children: Andrea Kersikoski, Kenhorst; Robert, husband of Jamie Patti, Reading and Amanda, wife of Shawn Wanner, West Reading. Also surviving are her siblings: Jeffrey S. Bohn, West Reading, and Carol A. Nugent, St. Lawrence, and many nieces and nephews. Four grandchildren, Cameron Kersikoski, Alyssa Geunes, Wyatt Wanner and Colton Wanner; and one on the way, Carter Kersikoski, also survive her.

She was predeceased by a brother, Thomas Bohn, a sister, Judith A. Guresh, and her former husband, Andrew Kersikowski. Upon hearing of his sister's death her brother, Charles R. Bohn, Jr., also passed away January 21, 2015.

Services will be Monday at 8 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be private.
