Mary Beth Johnson

Mary Beth (Lauenstein) Johnson, 61, passed away on October 19, 2015 in her Wyomissing residence.

She was the wife of Andrew M. Johnson.

Born in Pittsburgh, she was a daughter of Jeanne (Meyers) Lauenstein, Milwaukee, WI and the late Carl W. Lauenstein.

Mary Beth earned a Bachelor's Degree from St. Norbert College.

She worked for the past 15 years for Barnes and Noble.

Mary Beth was a member of St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, Whitfield.

She loved reading and researching ancestry. Mary Beth also enjoyed yoga, walking, dancing and traveling all over the world with her family.

Mary Beth was a kind and caring person with a big heart. She had a selfless devotion to her family and was always an anchor of support. She will be missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by three children: Bridget E. Johnson, Matthew A. Johnson, both of New York City and Megan A. Johnson, Philadelphia; three siblings: Peter, husband of Teri Lauenstein, La Cañada, CA, Steve, husband of Michele Lauenstein, Mequon, WI and Michael, husband of Mary, Lauenstein, Madison, WI and 27 nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Ignatius Loyola R. C. Church, 2810 St. Albans Dr., Sinking Spring, PA 19608. Burial will be private.
