Mary T. Baum

Mary T. Baum, 82, Bowmansville, Lancaster County, died Feb. 1 at 1 a.m. in the Zerbe Sisters Nursing Home, Narvon, Lancaster County.

She was the wife of Eugene C. Baum Sr.

Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Julia (Downey) McGowan.

Baum was a 1942 graduate of West Catholic Girls High School, Philadelphia.

She was a member of St. Benedict's Roman Catholic Church, Robeson Township.

Baum is also survived by two sons, Eugene C. Jr., Deptford, N.J., and Michael J., Oxford, Mich.; and a daughter, Juleann B. (Baum) Morris, Bowmansville.

Other survivors include a sister, Julia (McGowan) Smith, Prospect Park, Delaware County; and two grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 11 a.m. in St. Benedict's Church. Friends may call Friday 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the church. Burial will be private in St. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, Delaware County. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
