Mary B. Smith

Mary B. (Barusch) Smith, 90, died November 15, 2010 in her Alsace Township residence.

Her husband, C. Malcolm Smith, Jr., died February 23, 2006.

Born in Cedar Top, she was the daughter of the late Francesco and Maria (Barbara) Peruccio. Mary was a 60 year member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Reading.

She is survived by her four children: Barbara A., wife of Larry E. Logero, Wyomissing; Patricia A., wife of Kenneth W. Snyder, Jr., Wyomissing; C. Malcolm Smith, III, husband of Anita J. (Boucher) Smith, Wyomissing; and Michele S., wife of Dr. Edward Bigos, West Lawn. There are ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her four siblings: brother, Joseph Peruccio and sisters, Frances Winskowski, Philomena Giella and Rose P. Gangemi.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church, 1018 North 8th Street, Reading, PA 19604. Entombment will be in Gethsemane Mausoleum.
