Mary Ann Miller

Mary Ann (Ruhnke) Miller, 58, went to the Lord, August 13, 2015. She was born August 30, 1956 and lived in Temple.

She was predeceased by her parents, Erwin and Anna (Purschke) Ruhnke, her husband Glenn Miller, sister, Betty (Ruhnke) Snider and brother, Tony Ruhnke.

Mary graduated from Wilson High School and RACC, where she earned a degree as an RN. She worked at Pottstown Memorial Hospital from 1989 to 2006 and then at St. Joseph's Medical Center from 2008 until her illness began in 2010.

Mary loved the Christmas holiday. For many years she and Glenn would become Mr. and Mrs. Claus and visit those less fortunate, especially the children's wing of hospitals. They always had gifts for all the children in the family and they made sure others had food on the table.

Surviving are three brothers, Hans Ruhnke and wife, Rebecca with whom she resided the last five years; Benno Ruhnke and wife Sue, Mohnton; and John Ruhnke and his long-time soul mate, Rebecca, Mohnton.

She is also survived by two step-children, Steve Beck and wife, Elizabeth, Houston, TX; and Deb Cheeseman and husband Earl, Robesonia, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
