Mary Ann Latze

Mary Ann Latze, 84, passed away on May 6, 2026 at the Reading Hospital. Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late John H. And Dorothy C. (Novak) Latze. She graduated from Central Catholic, class of 1959, and worked as a clerk in the Berks County Dept of Veterans Affairs. After her retirement, Mary Ann liked to volunteer her time at the Reading Hospital Blood Donation Center as a receptionist. In her free time, Mary Ann enjoyed reading, vacationing at the beach, and spending time with family. She was a member of St. Ignatius.

Mary Ann’s memory will be cherished by her sister, Elinor Hummel (Rob); her brother, Martin Latze (Susan); as well as her many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on May 16, 2026 at 10 a.m. at the Chapel of Resurrection in Gethsemane Cemetery 3139 Kutztown Rd, Reading, PA 19605 with burial to follow.
