Mary Alice Keiper

Mary Alice (Dietz) Keiper, 89, of Laureldale, died February 2, 2015 at ManorCare Health Services, Muhlenberg Township.

She was the wife of Lemoine D. Keiper, Jr., whom she married June 25, 1966. She was predeceased by her first husband, Randall W. Miller, who died June 17, 1964.

Born February 26, 1925 in West Reading, she was a daughter of the late Harvey George and Clara Margaret (Rottmund) Dietz.

Mary was a 1942 graduate of Muhlenberg High School.

She was last employed as a baker's helper with Weis Markets for 16 years.

Mary was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, Laureldale.

Her true passion was her family.

Surviving are her three children: Marilyn A. (Miller), wife of David E. Ney of Harrisburg; Lemoine D., III, husband of Sarah (Carson) Keiper of Coatesville and Randy A., husband of Rae (Oeschger) Miller of Lancaster.

Other survivors include her brother, Kenneth E., husband of Audrey Dietz of Wernersville and her sister, Arlene M., wife of Russell Claytor of Sun City West, AZ.

There are also seven grandchildren: Joshua (Gina) Ney; Emilie Ney; Kali Miller; Aimee Miller; Lemoine Keiper, IV; Johanna Keiper and Timothy Keiper.

Mary was predeceased by her brother, Calvin E. Dietz.

Services will be Monday at 11 am in Kuhn-Stitzel Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township.
