Mary Agnus Leukus

Mary Agnus Leukus, 95, formerly of Sinking Spring, died August 4, 2014 in Berkshire Center.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Anthony A. and Frances (Myslinski) Leukus.

She was a graduate of St. Peter's High School in 1937.

Mary was employed by 6th Ward Cafe, 2nd and Washington assisting her father with his business for 41 years, retiring in 1978.

She was a member of St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church, Whitfield.

Mary is survived by her niece, Elizabeth A., wife of Edward Nierle and two nephews, Raymond A., Jr., husband of Christine Leukus and Andrew A., husband of Cynthia Leukus. Three great-nieces and three great-nephews and nine great-great-nieces and nephews also survive her.

She was predeceased by four siblings, Andrew, John, Raymond and Anne.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 11:30 a.m. in St. Ignatius Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Friends may call one hour before the Mass in the church. Edward J.
